Hoje, dia 07 de agosto o baterista Barry Kerch está completando mais um ano de vida. Aos 36 anos, Barry Kerch tem uma linda família e já conquistou o coração de vários fãs, Barry está no Shinedown desde sua fundação e sempre se dedicou ao máximo para levar o nome da banda ao topo das paradas.

Barry nasceu em Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Tocou em sua primeira bateria quando tinha 7 anos, em parte de um acordo que fez com seus pais para aperfeiçoar os seus fundamentos na bateria antes de começar em seu primeiro kit completo.
Tem uma licenciatura em Antropologia pela University of Central Florida.
Vive atualmente em Jacksonville e é casado, o nome de sua esposa é Lori, sua primeira filha nasceu em 18 janeiro de 2011 e se chama Stella Lucielle Kerch.
Por amar cerveja, Barry Kerch colocou o nome de Stella em sua filha por causa de uma marca de cerveja.
